"Amazonas Air"...a Chance to fly over the Amazon!!

gera

"It´s raining again", said Martha as she called Tom for the third time over
the two war radio. Thomas Ascara, chief pilot of "Amazonas Air" was to land in a few
minutes. He was returning from his daylong flight over the great southern Amazon
Basin where his small Air Service flew day in and day out. Flying in this territory
is quite a challenge for rain and fog usually is the common day to day situation for at
least 9 months a year. The Amazon weather never stops delivering more water to the
great river and life to the inmense jungle, which sadly, is deminishing by the hour.
Amazonas Air has grown a lot from its original state in 1934 when Tom´s Grandfather started
with his lonesome pontooned Fiarchild.
There are three pilots waiting outside for Tom to land for a new pilot is needed to
fly daily supplies, mail and passengers to many towns along the river. You there!!!!!!
the second one with the stand up hair....yea you....might you be the next piloto?
feeling his way above the mighty river?....will you stand the pressure of jungle flight?
maybe....maybe not, but this is your chance to fly in the Green Jungle of the Amazon....

Oh.....some Millionaire in his Sailing Sloop is lost somewhere in the many tributaries, keep an eye open!!!!!

"The rains have started along the river and several emergencies have already been reported along the shores as mud and heavy rain caused some alligators to swim all over three towns. Two dogs cannot be found and a golfer´s bag is lost.....
Flights along the river have been decreased for not many pilotos want to risk their necks in the heavy rains and confusing fog. The town of "El Cojito" is in need of an electric generator since the swollen river took it to its bottom as waters swooped through the town.....
A volunteer group has been formed in "Chicalo Grande" where the airport is full of aid planes coming from all Brazil."

What you have read above is some Newspaper news seen this week in several Brazilian dailys.......Flying in the River Basin has now become very dangerous and only good hot shot pilotos are going there............are you on line???...why not????......amphibians are needed and soon the authorities will go on a red alert which will need many planes to help bring supplies and medical aid to many souls waterlogged along the famous river......can they count on you???....oil up the machine man!!! put your rubber boots on and if desired your leather hat or baseball cap....
