Hangar Studios 713 has released the American Champion Scout! A cousin to their previous Super Decathlon (and descendant of Lagaffe's Champ!), the Scout is a really well done bush plane. HS713 keeps upping its game with every release -- this one has glass and steam cockpits, saved aircraft states, a float version, and more. Only had time to scratch the surface tonight, but so far I'm really impressed.

Beat me to it!!! I just might be picking this one up for the glass panel! I've always said this sim depicts modern flying and modern airspaces which require modern avionics to be able to fly into many locations.
 
Y'all, surprised there's not more talk about this. HS713 has come a long was since the Navions. This and the Super Decathlon are among my favorite singles in FS nowadays.

Also, he as a paintkit in case anyone's been wanting to do the Royal Canadian Flying Corps, Australian nature corps, or other cool Scout paints. :)

Ok, on closer examination it doesn't have a variant with regular sized tires, just the oversized tundra/bush tires or amphib floats. Not really interested.

I didn't realise that til after I'd bought it! The 26" wheels are sort of OK for general use, they don't look too outrageous. It looks, works and flies very nicely. Paintkit is fine for the Blender crowd but not so good for oldies still wedded to layered PKs - just UV maps, is all.
