An aircraft carrier request

I'm happily flying the Boeing F4B and Grumman F3F all over the world thanks to Paul Clawson's USN carriers, but I'd really like to be able to do the same from a British carrier with Frank Elton's lovely Flycatcher. Could someone please either build one, or convert the old IS4G Eagle, Hermes or Glorious?

Probably not a carrier you are looking for but I recently installed a Hurrican package from Simviation that contains a carrier addon scenery.

This package also includes as scenery a landable aircraft carrier with funnel smoke, wake effects, animated gun turrets and pilot controlled lights via the Nav 1 frequency. By Robert Sanderson. Presented by Nor-Cal Prop Club 48.8MB

I am not really sure if 18 is the base and 91 is the update or not. I down loaded both and installed in that order.

The read me files are pretty unclear on the installation so I loaded them to a temp file and manually transferred files.

I have not visited the Aircraft carrier yet.

The Hurricane models are very good to say the least.
 
And when its' installed,you find the Carrier in Scapa Flow;Scotland.

I'm sure someone can figure out how to move its' location maybe?

Thank you. I'll take a look at that. I have Robert Sanderson's Hurricane IID and it's certainly very good. Part of the charm of the Lexington and Ranger world cruises is that they put the carriers in several locations - Pearl, Panama, Cape Town, Sydney etc - and it's possible to go sightseeing easily.

Ah, yes, good ol' HMS Inscrutable. (I named her that on my Go To Airport menu, since Robert didn't tell us her proper name. "WW2 British Carrier" just didn't have an authentic Royal Navy ring to it.)

I thought about moving her. Alas, she's made up of several separate bgl files, so it's not just a matter of opening one bgl and changing the location, like when moving one of Paul's carriers. It would be necessary to change the location and orientation of each bgl in such a way as to have all the parts come together properly at the new location. I couldn't figure out a way to do it.

I'm not sure (it was so long ago) but I seem to recall that I couldn't even open those bgls in BGLXML to attempt to work on them.

That World War One Scapa Flow scenery looks interesting! I'd missed that completely!
 
I beta tested that Scapa Flow scenery for Bortdafarm and they're a hoot to fly on and off of. Just be prepared as those are some awfully small decks and some have superstructure in some most inconvienent places.
 
I'd missed the scenery too, for the simple reason that it doesn't include the word "carrier", so "FS2004 + carrier" and similar searches never found it. Maybe the filename should be altered? It's pretty good, and Bortdafarm has done a lot of fine work for First Eagles as well.

I found "Inscrutable" too. I think it's a sort of generic Ark Royal with some of Illustrious Class. Has the right "look" anyway.
