• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

An emotional comeback...

So I left a year or so ago. I started out pretty cruddy(Stork and Me262 being evidence). Then after a while I left due to technical reasons(joystick and no $$$). After that, I lost my CFS3 CD-2 disk, but it was the start of a daring plan. I plugged my old winxp hard drive and started transferring the files, well about an hour later(23.8GB in total). I had my old CFS3 files with MAW and BOB. Problem was........please insert the correct cd disk and try again ...(content deleted by moderator)... and now I had CFS3 running! What got me very emotional is that I had forgotten what I had in that install that when I booted up cfs3 I was greeted with the Adagio for Strings(yes you can edit the intro to fit your taste), rows of planes that had been part of my time here starting giving my flashbacks(mainly the missing file errors).But that was that, now lets cut to the chase. I have a mission now. I plan to start making skins,"oh no oh god not again!",but with my knowledge gained skinning weapons for Battlefield 2. I can say that my work will be more improved than it was a year ago. With that, expect to see more of me in the near future.

P.S. I thank myself for never wiping that HD and BF2 modeler Clivewell for making the Spitfires that made me come back.

First thing I do, and first thing I was informed when I started. THE PANEL LINES AND RIVETS!!

Using the RN Corsair that was newly added into the library, I'm beginning to learn how to make them nice lines. Using a spec sheet and some editing presto.

Good to see you back and busy, josepicos! Please note the terms of your membership at SOH, they haven't changed and discussing no-CD patches is still outlawed.
