An idea I have for a portable simpit.....

My apartment will be finished soon, and although I want to build a simpit to start simming again, it would take up too much space. So I thought perhaps a simpit, mounted on a platform with wheels, would be ideal. The problem is it would have to fit through a 30" wide door space.....

Any ideas, shipmates?

Would love to get a pit but two things stand in the way, no money and the wife won't give me permission. Those and I love the wife to much to cross her.

A simpit? I'm lucky to have a computer desk and chair, a working joystick and a 5 dollar set of headphones. I have a nice speaker system, but ever since Deb got her new puter and puter desk and took up one corner of my office/sim room, I've been forced to wear the headphones while flying. But...she doesn't have to wear headphones while she watches her soap operas on line. Will have to bring that up....the next time I'm in the mood for a black eye.

Appreciate all the advice! I did decide on the gaming cockpit setup from Main Performance PC. It perfectly suits my needs, and will fit through my door so I can move it to and from my storage area, just outside my apartment door. Space is a premium in my apartment. Am having a Murphy bed built, which will fold out sideways. The one thing I did NOT skimp on space is my shower. It is a huge walk-in shower; plus I opted for a wall urinal in addition to my toilet. Always wanted a urinal. I guess it's a "guy" thing. Add to that, I bought a "kegerator", so I am gonna have a great "man cave".
