I've just been pondering over lunch......has anyone managed to get any WW2 a/c into OFF BHAH? I've been looking at the new 'Hat in the Ring' add on for it - WM and team have made some astounding improvements over cfs3, seems a shame to limit it to WW1, excellent though it is! :)

I did get a Spit into my original BHAH install but with subsequent patches you can't 'get at' the old style cfs3 QC menu.
 
Yes I have..You have to go into the campaigns folder/CampaignData Folder and add a squadron date and squadron to get it to show up in QC, there are posts concerning this at the BHAH site..
For adding stand alone aircraft..
Check there for all the needed infomation..
It is crazy to face a fokker with a hurricane.. LOL..
Slowing down enough is the problem, at a stall speed the Hurricane is in a Bad spot sometimes..LOL..LOL..

edit - I've had a peek over at Combat Ace, any ideas on where I may find such info? I don't want to ask lest I get a tirade of flak in return! lol.

My main reason for wanting to try this is for the terrific scenery and to explore the ai/fm improvements.

I was given direction on this sometime ago..Since I haven't been using the BHAH and have forgotten what I had to do in this issue..
Opps, A true sign of OLD age..
I have been doing mainly ETO CFS3 PTO MAW stuff and haven't brothered to even Play BHAH for months..
I gress I shouldn't admit this openly..
But my efforts have been to help and return to this group of people who have Blessed me so richly for the past 12 years or so..( CFS Family) I wasn't online for several years and now I have been Blessed to be able to do so, I have been putting my efforts into All of the CFS3 family of World war 2 sims..
I'll see if i can remember or at the least get the info you need

cfs3/off plane

I fly with cfs3 planes in off quite a bit. Its usually a slaughter (1 spitfire up against 10 dr1's) but its a blast.

and, you can fly off planes in cfs3. For some reason you loose alot of texture detail on the cocktpit, but the planes still look and fly great.

Its basically drag and drop,,,copy your cfs3 or bhah planes over to the other games aircraft directory.

I belive all the cfs3 planes are aircraft type 0 (ie,,available in qc/mission), but the only ones in BHAH that are "0" are the qc ones. So if this is what you plan to do,,use a qc plane,,,other wise use the sqd plane.
