An unusual graphic display yesterday....

I was playing around with FSX yesterday, when an unusual graphic display took place.

I did not get a screenshot, but to be honest, I was in a panic at the time.

Ever go to a movie, and all of a sudden the film freezes, and then it gets extremely bright in several places, and it looks like it is burning up? Possibly due to a projection bulb?

Well, that is exactly what it looked like, until I reboot FSX. You see, I have a DLP projector, and at 300 bucks a pop for a replacement bulb, I wasn't taking any chances.

But my projector and bulb are fine. FSX seems to be ok too.

Maybe my graphics card is going bad. No idea, but I am going to call BFG. I have a lifetime warranty on it!

An update. I went ahead and called BFG. They are sending me a replacement graphics card, no charge. Lifetime warranty is a good thing. Am not completely positive the card is the culprit, but hey, .................
