Anchorage 1959/Elmendorf AFB Beta Test

Nice! A perfect stop over (as it was and is in real life) for my flights from SEATAC and McChord AFB to Tokyo and all points Asia.

Note for Tom G. - this scenery is first-rate, doesn't affect frame rates, has lots of little visual goodies in it as advertised. I've noted at least as far as EAFB is concerned the new scenery leaves just a tad of the EOR from the default Elmendorf scenery lying under it. Not a problem, though, as the new EAFB visually overrides the old to the point where you hardly notice it. Excellent! If this is the beta, looking forward to the final release!

Sorry Tom, I shouldn't have done that - EOR means End Of Runway.

Will probably get back up there again this evening, or tomorrow sometime.:salute:

First - did you uncheck the Anchorage Aerial Photo layer in the Scenery Library?

Second, you may have another addon for Elmendorf - make sure you deactivate it in the Scenery Library.

Hope this helps,

Tom

Looks like going into the scenery library and deactivating the Anchorage aerial photo did the trick. No more overrun. Thanks for the tip!
