And A Question On How To Spend Money

I have massively overspent any attempts at budgeting since I got my Paypal account... so I am going to delete it.
But, before I do that, I want to buy two more products - One Scenery and One Airplane.
I will not waver from these options - one of each and then I am DONE until I have dug my self out of the financial hole I am in.

SO - which scenery should I buy?
1.) Ultimate Terrain USA ($35, Flight1)
2.) FlightZone 2: Portland ($35, Flight1)

Which Airplane should I buy?
1.) Corsair Megapack ($45, Aeroplane Heaven)
2.) B-24 ($35, Alphasim/Flight1)
3.) Glasair III (20 EURO, Aussim/Simmarket)
4.) Spitfire (24 EURO, Plane Design/Simmarket)
5.) Scout Package (28 EURO, RealAir/Simmarket)
6.) Hellcat (20 EURO, WDT/Simmarket)
7.) Citation X v1 ($28, Eaglesoft)
8.) Citation II ($30, Eaglesoft)
9.) Citation CJ1 ($24, Eaglesoft)
10.) Columbia 400 ($32, Eaglesoft)

Not sure about the Ultimate Terrain as I dont have it but the Portland scenery package is fantastic - you wont regret it ..but the dont expect much support from the developer as he seems to of disappeared - not that it needs any support.

Aircraft -My choice would be the Realair Scout package..I have had all the aircraft listed except the Hellcat, B-24, Spitfire and Columbia. The Scout package was the only one that made it back in a recent reinstall of FS9. I have heard the Plane Design Spitfire is way too tricky to fly but very nice visually...the Hellcat looks like it might be worth checking out though.

If you have over-spent, maybe it is time to apply some discipline to your shopping-- instead of the way you send money(Paypal). There are several reasons we grab things up for the sim.
1. It is new and I want it. (Consider if it is REALLY needed for the kind of flying you want to do).
2. I want to be the first to post about something new. *why??
3. I really need to have all the airplanes, scenery, flights, etc. that I can get. (Maybe you are being too ambitious)
a. What kind of aircraft do you fly most? Will this one be a favorite, or
just sit in the hangar taking up disc space.
b. How often will I fly in this area? What will a new airport do for my
enjoyment of the sim? Did I ever go there in the default scenery?
c. Is this the kind of flying I like to do? Why do I need a fire-bomber
If I don't really plan to do that? Why do I need a sail-plane if I don't
like seeking out ridges or thermals, etc.

Asking yourself these kinds of questions should help curb some of the reckless abandon of buying payware you may not need. It also helps to
avoid 'impulse' buying if you just file your planned purchases in a folder.
Then let them sit for at least a week and see if they are still so attractive.
If you wait long enough, they may turn up on sale--Or you may read a review that says they are not what you really want. :gossip:

It all depends on the the kind of flying and aircraft you like...a B-24 is quite different from Citation..
The aircraft I'm missing is the Sibwings Saab Safir. One of the best models for FS9 (and FSX), and cheaper too I believe..

Ultimate Terrain and GE2006 are by far my best so far as far as making the sim look good..GE2006 gets rid of alot of the black look to FS9 and add all seasons textures.....

Your first savings

These last 2 purchases will only make it worse. I would not buy anything ans start saving right away.
