  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

And now for something completely differant.

Naa, don't expect too much from the model.
It's a very old (source file sais "2003") and unfinished design with lots of gaps an gotchas that has been taking dust somewhere on the MAW ftp.
Cap Winters asked if it's ok to release it with ETO 1.2 so why not, it may be of use to some for target practicing. :costumes:
 
Hi Guys,

Here a few more shots of the skin coming along.

Mathias is to hard on himself, the model is fine, no holes to be seen anywhere :) and the VC is very usable.

The skin is based off a dornier skin done by Bravo/4 for colours and panel lines etc, with some serious pushing, pulling, cloning, rubbing out etc along with some actual texturing work on my part to get it on to the model in a beleivable state.

This is going to be a very welcome addition to the ETO. Mathias, thank you for offering the aircraft to the community. Thanks Rob for preparing this beauty for inclusion in the 1.20 update. Its gonna look so purty flying along the Riveria.

It is a shame that you are using 2d gauges for the model. Would you want a set of 3ds that Mathias sent me a while ago? I made several err... umm... improvements to them (sorry oh Master Polymaker). Or you can send me the vc and I'll add them to the pit.
