Naismith....

The highway is 421 southeast of Greensboro, NC at noon on Monday. There are LOTS of nice riding roads here in NC ( stay away from the interstates ) !!

The camera is a GoPro ( GoPro.com ) set at 1280x960 resolution. Resolution ranges from 848x480 all the way up to 1920x1080 (HD). Mounting units are available for anything you can think of........I've got the helmet and handlebar mounts and can switch back and forth in seconds.

I was surprised that it took me almost an hour to upload a 2 minute video to Youtube!
I'm thinkin' resolution had something to do with that...........:isadizzy:

The GoPro are very popular among pilots too...I was talking to a guy recently who has 3 mounted on his aircraft.

I've a 30 minute HD clip from a recent Irish FlyIn that I was gonna put up on youtube. I gave up due to the abysmal upload speeds (and the fact that I'd have to split the video too).

Youtube needs to get it's act together with the HD stuff........that's pretty much standard these days. In the meantime, I'm gonna dial it down to the 848x480 resolution and see what that looks like ( and upload time ).
I've got some powered-parachute flight training coming up soon and I want more than
2 to 3 minute videos........

Great stuff there Lucky...lol kind of reminds me a little of the old Police Squad/Naked Gun intros...you just need to do a Blues Brothers routine and drive through a mall or somthing :icon_lol:
