And so it has come to an end...

To all,

I have uploaded the second and final (of four) layout packages for aspiring MB users to SOH. With that, my work in late-war Europe has come to an end. All of my campaigns for CFS2 in this theatre have been "retired," and like the OstFront, I'm putting the Late ETO sim into mothballs, for now.

Now...I have to make a decision. To France, or Italy?

You didn't really believe that I'm pulling the plug on missions, did you?

Please

Please let it be France Rami - that's the least exploited part of the air war, and extremely important for the outcome of the Battle of Britain. And a big THANK YOU for all your fantastic effort for this sim.

Finn,

Sigh...the promises of making promises to two friends with only limited time to do it.

I promised GearyMcS to do the Battle of France, something I have to fulfill, and I also need to finish up doing the final update to the Tuskegee Airmen, thus allowing for a complete, 100-mission campaign package.

I want to finish flying the tuskeegee airmen too, but . . . ya got anything that involves flying over the alps?

Erufle,

Yeah...the Tuskegee Airmen Part IV, and a couple of 'Frantic' missions (22 and 25) involve flights over them on the way back to Italy. When I do the Battle of France Vs Italy, that will also cover some sections of the Alps.

P-47s In italy sounds awesome! I saw this killer video on youtube that had some great action and it was comptetely Politically Incorrect. Which is just a bonus.

Italy would be nice..esp any thing naval...i am collecting all the Italian ships i can find...and hope to possibly see something come of missions that cover Italian naval support for the Afrika Corps.

Hi Rami! :wavey:

It's amazing all the work you did to provide us with basically most of WWII aerial combat history.

A thousand thanks!

I am sorry to bother you, but the fact you uploaded here, over at Simviation and at your website confused me a little.

Where are the most updated versions of your campaigns? Here, at Simviation or at your website?

Thank you again!

Kelti,

Anything here (in the new section) or at my site are the ones you want, my friend.

Once I finish up Bong and McGuire in FEAF, I promised Achim that if he built the airbases, I would use them in the MTO. I am intent on keeping that promise. The Tuskegee Airmen flew escort for RAAF and SAAF Hudsons on anti-shipping and anti-submarine warfare that I did not fully build into the original four campaigns. Unless Rami beats me to it, and he has my full support to do so, I will get some of those missions in my updates to the Tuskegee Airmen Campaigns.

Right now though, it would be a travesty to not finish Bong and McGuire first. I am in December, 1944, with Bong having 36 and McGuire 28 confirmed air battle shoot downs. We are getting close to 1945 and the major liberation of the Philippines and island hopping up to Enola Gay time.
