Annoying Virtual Cockpit in my FSX

Hello and Happy New Year to all

I have both FS9 and FSX with Acceleration Pack and nowadays I fly mostly VRS Hornet FA18 in FS9 and I am very happy with that.In other words everything works very well. But some times I would try Hornets in FSX and then I get these annoying features. The Virtua Cockpit view zooms in and out when I use my CH Pro Throttle and FighterStick USB. Especially the annoying effect happens when I am flying Flight Deck 5.

I think that it has to be some sort of error in my FXS settings, because my HOTAS works definitely OK in FS9

AsusP5QL Pro
Intel Core 2 Duo 3,16 GHz
4 Gt DDR2 800 MHz
Asus Radeon HD 4870 PCI-E 1024MB
Corsair650HX ATX
Samsung Spinpoint F1 750 GT
Windows XP Home Edition + SP2

I would say its software related , or maybe how something is mapped in FSX...

Never heard of it happening before , so I am no help.....

Are you opening and closing the throttle when these effects occur?

Some AC in FSX have 'pilot head movement' modelled and react to inertia.

Hello Tako Kichi

You are right.It must be modelled head movemet and it happens when I use my throttle. It occurs mainly in the jetfighter cockpit. I have never been in the cockpit of the flying jet so I did not realize that the head movemet was so large.

So I guess I have to tolerate it like the real pilot

Thank you

Dangerous

Did you mean these?

[DynamicHeadMovement]
LonAccelOnHeadLon=-0.020000
LonAccelOnHeadPitch=-0.010000
RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.010000
YawAccelOnHeadLat=-0.100000
RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.100000
MaxHeadAngle=5.000000
MaxHeadOffset=0.300000
HeadMoveTimeConstant=1.000000

The head movement in FSX is BS. It is nothing like that in a real fighter. I find it annoying to because it is unrealistic. Like the loud breathing in some fighters.

You harness would lock at the rate FSX shows the pilot moving forward. Then if the harness is locked and the head is attached to the neck...well...I am sure you get the picture.

Hello

My new head movement settings are here

[DynamicHeadMovement]
LonAccelOnHeadLon=-0.002000
LonAccelOnHeadPitch=-0.001000
RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.001000
YawAccelOnHeadLat=-0.010000
RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.010000

Orginal settngs are

[DynamicHeadMovement]
LonAccelOnHeadLon=-0.020000
LonAccelOnHeadPitch=-0.010000
RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.010000
YawAccelOnHeadLat=-0.100000
RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.100000

So I changed them quite lot, but now I am very satisfied.The head stays
almost steady and IMHO the annoying, almost unrealistic feeling is gone.

Perhaps I could later tinker them a bit up

Thank you for help
