• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Another CFS3.exe question PLEASE HELP

I have tried and tried to do as it says and Copy and Paste the exe to the desktop but I must not have the correct one.Nothing says exe on it and when I do have it Pasted it says to go to Properties and select Compatability.No file I have gives me that option!!!!!Not even the original. I go to Comper,C drive,Program Files(x86),Microsoft Games.In that folder it has CFS3 Mission SDK,CFS3 Terrain SDK,Combat Flight Simulator 3 and ViewUI.Can someone PLEASE tell me where to find the CFS3.exe so I can try to get flying with Windows7 before adding anything at all on???? Mark

Please refer to Step #4 in Post #1. It's the same for Windows 7.

Boomer, you are so close! Open the one that says 'Combat Flight Simulator 3' .
The first two you describe are SDK applications and the other one ...hmmm
I hope there's one inside 'Combat Flight Simulator 3' ..

In the attached you'll see the .exe at the bottom of the first column.

Thanks for all the help!! AND ENCOURAGEMENT!!!:ernae: I will try the exe tonight if it doesn't get too late.Another question,I am downloading a few things to start out with in a ZIP folder and then extracting and adding to CFS3.In the Missions and Campaigns group if it has MAW,ETO or PTO in the title I don't download those to use with this version of my CFS3 right??? I haven't EVEN thought of trying to make seperate copies of CFS3 yet for those Actions!!!
