Some of you may remember mentioning my father-in-law who is Robert G. Weber. One of the biggest WWII collectors and supporter of the "Confederate Air-Force". I had mentioned all these large binders with hundreds of aircraft photos,(which I had planned on posting some more but got busy with other etc.) those binders I got from him.
Sadly he lost the battle tonight. He had been on a decline since his congestive heart-failure over 3 years ago. He was my History-buddy and I sure will miss our gin-inspired chats.(Anything you wanted to know about the war he knew it) and could tell you what was right or wrong in a war-movie be it uniforms, vehicles or other equipment.
Lets do what he would like to see, raise a toast and give former Air Force Vet and Father-in-Law Robert G. Weber a big salute.
