This one's from No.1 Middle East Check and Conversion Unit, Bilbeis, 1943-44. Not actually an operational unit, but I thought the scheme was interesting enough to do.

Up as soon as I've packed it all up!

PS If you notice the absence of Vokes filters, that's only because we don't have a tropicalised bomber model without the chin turret. Between the two, this is the less visible...

I likes it!!
Oh yea!
Black, just like the "Playboy" airplane..

Too Cool!!
Thanks..

Wanted to ask the experts, why do some early war British planes have half of the undercarriage white and the other black. Supposed to be night and day camouflage all rolled into one?

Wot, like this?

Exactly. Them, and aircraft spotters.

Confirmed. Of course, when the aircraft is seen against the sky, it doesn't make the slightest difference what colour you paint the thing unless it's low enough... But if nothing else, it kept the erks busy painting straight lines...

Do you plan on uploading this beauty Nigel?

In due course! I do get more time on weekends... :dizzy: Most of these skins are on development versions of the Blenheim, so in order to release them, I actually have to do the entire process of building the stand-alone all over again, as well as putting together the AI version.

It's gone in for uploading.

And another one for MAW, which is after all my favourite place to fly...

No.113 Squadron, Egypt and Greece, 1941.

It's actually only because I am too bloody lazy to start a new skin for the AvH Spitfires...
