Another FW-190 Takes Flight

The anticipated first flight of Dan Kirkland's Flugwerk FW-190 took place this past week, with a few short videos posted to Youtube. The aircraft is based from a Flugwerk kit airframe, powered by an Ash-82 engine (roughly the same size as a BMW 801, and for which is used in the majority of the Flugwerk machines), though it is out-fitted and rigged internally to match that of an original Fw-190. Work was carried out at GossHawk Unlimited, the same company that finished the rebuild of the Flying Heritage Collection's airworthy original Fw-190A-5 and the full to-airworthy restoration of FHC's original Fw-190D-13.

Here are some clips of the the take-off and taxiing from the first flight, uploaded by Dan. The aircraft is very accurately finished to-boot!
