Hi all,

Have once again been trawling through files on my old Hard Drive when i discovered these Repaints for the ALPHASIM Freeware Blackburn Buccaneer S.Mk.2 that I cooked up some time ago. The 3 repaints were designed to Cover the early days of S.2 development. from prototype to 700B NAS IFTU. anyway I've just finished putting the final touches to them and was thinking of posting them tomorrow. Since this will be the first thing I've actually released/posted, has anyone got advice on what i need to do before i do??

I only fly the UKMIL Bucc but I'll be first in line to get those paints. Can't have too much of a good thing. :d

Advice before uploading. Check, check and double check that all the files are in each texture folder, that you include a copy of the aircraft.cfg section for each skin (you'd be surprised how many folks don't know how to add paints to a aircraft.cfg). Write up a Read Me file giving credit to Alphasim for the freeware Bucc, stating that this is freeware work, not to upload to any site that charges a fee to download files or that makes people wait ungodly lengths of time to access freeware files, not to make money off them, that the use of the files is at the risk of the user and that you are not responsible for any damages, real or imagined, that may arise from the use of the files.

The actual uploading part is pretty easy. Go to the Warbird's button up on the menu bar thingie, click on the Add-On Index. Once that page pops up, click on the big red UPLOAD text. That will bring up the upload screen. It's just fill in the box from that point on. Name, Description, browse to the package you want to upload (can be in zip or rar form). Under Parent Categories, select FS2004 Skins, then way at the bottom, hit the SUBMIT button. Wait while the file uploads. Bingo bango it will be in the library and available once the SOH Librarian checks it out to make sure that it is free of viruses and that it is not pirated payware stuff.

I look forward to these skins...I love flying the BUCC down LOW LOW LOW!
