I think this will be the last of the liveries for the L-4. Many thanks to Noel Colette and his group for allowing this to be used.

Anyway, hope you like it. Presently writing the manual, and then it will be on to one last round of testing before package is ready.

That L-4 looks very sharp after it flew all the way across the ocean to Plum Island.
Do you think maybe they might do an L-2 ? Just like really flew out of Plum Island, during the war, looking for subs. There was four of them, painted olive drab.

:costumes: Strong tail wind, I guess....

An L-2 would be a possibility if there was enough readily-available info. This L-4 project has been pure pleasure, especially learning all about its role in WWII.

The L-2 is a L-4 with the tail coming straight forward level with the canopy sloping down. There are lots of images on Google of the airplane,
The Olive Drab shown on the L-4 looks like they used Viet Nam O.D.
WWII O.D. was a bit lighter. It's a common mistake with nowaday modelers.
