I didn't want to Hi-Jack Willy's thread....

I have the latest FS9 base pack installed and in the description it says it includes a new prop fix. However, the prop blur is still invisible when the fuselage (or any surface of the aircraft)is the back ground, INVISIBLE as opposed to hard to see. Please excuse the caps but I wanted to emphasize that there is no prop blur when the viewing angle has the any portion of the aircraft as background to the prop. I have tried both texture sets included with the modle and 2 additional addon texture sets with same results.

The prop blur does show properly against all scenery objects, terrain and clouds, just not when any part of the blur has any part of the aircraft as a backdrop.

Is there a simple way to fix this or is it something best ignored?

Thanks,
Steve

EDIT: I have tried modifying the prop alpha texture to no affect.

NEVER MIND!

Evidently, the base pack I had DID NOT contain the noted prop fix even though the dates corresponded to the noted fix. I found a separate file called "...Propfix" and THAT fixed the problem!!!!
