Another Multiple Install Question

OK got everything working great, installed some addon scenery with AI that requires an update to Voice Pack so I install useing EditVoicePack as usual. My question is this having never had more than one install of FS2004 what file within FS2004 is VoicePackEdit updating?

Since VPE only allows me to open a standard install of FS2004 I would assume I could update the one file and copy it to the other installs, right. If the file is seperate from FS2004 I would also assume that all would be directed to the same file outside of the FS2004 install which would mean running VPE would update all and require no copies being made.

Again with only one install never had to ask this question before, just updated and flew.

The file you need is USEnglishBig.gvp, which is in the main Sound directory. Do all the EVP edits you need, then copy & paste that over; I've done it a few times over the years, no ill effects so far.

The other option is to use the Flight1 registry tool to set each of your FS installations in sequence to the active one in the registry and then run EVP for each installation.
But the copy approach should work as well and easier.
