Hi Willy,

Who am I, you are after all more than an old hand in flightsim, but to improve the appearance of the terrain of your FSX install, you might want to consider ORBX Global and trees.

I'm sure that the other old hands still playing FSX will agree with me. It will completely transform your install and doesn't have negative influence on the frames.

Cheers,

Jan

I love orbx global, also, consider a mesh like toppsim or fs genesis (free). You could go with FS global ultimate but its file size is huge!!!!

Oh yeah, it's looking pretty bad there. Right now, I'm just getting a few aircraft in. Just got to fix up the flying banana for scenery inspections.

I've still got my old mesh in what backups I still have. Can't remember the name of it, but it's I've got it for almost all of the world.

Scenery is on the to do list though.

Milton's Beech D-18S is a very good freeware D-18. I always hoped that someone would develop it into a G or H-18 for FSX, but alas, that never happened. Anyway, Milton's D-18 is very enjoyable and negated my desire to give Carenado my money for their version.
