Another Steven Myers aircraft question

Steven Myer's has a very nice Porterfield-Turner Collegiate that used to be in the SOH library, but is no longer (lost at some point). His read me file states that he uploaded it to SOH only and that if found on other sites the integrity of that package can not be guaranteed (something along those lines). I found the plane, via a Google search that brought up a thread here on SOH...the plane can now only be found on FSDownload.com.

Seeing as how Steven had uploaded this plane to SOH at one point himself, would there be any reason that I could not re-upload the package to the library so that it is once again available here....and quoting from Steven's read me file:

Remember this is FREEWARE, and has been uploaded by me ONLY to Sim-Outhouse.com. SOH is the friendliest and most trust-worthy FS site I've dealt with. I take no responsibility for the integrity of these files if you aquire them from another site.

I think it's safe to say....YES, upload it here OBIO. As you said, it was here at one time. I don't see a problem. I think Steven would be happy to see it here still.
 
Does anyone remember what Steven Myers user name was here on SOH? It might be appropriate to upload the package and ask Douglas to put it under his user name perhaps.

The Collegiate is the first one listed, but it errors out when you try to download it.

I would firstly send Douglas a pm to see if he can repair the upload, if he cannot then I would send the author an email requesting permission too re upload his model.

I've already done that, I've been in contact with Steven almost daily for the past two weeks. Seems one day he decided to see if there was still any interests in his models. That's when he found my posts via Google and got in contact with me. Yesterday I mentioned to him that his models were no longer available here due to a crash, and that we'd like to upload them once again. Steven didn't say no, but he didn't say yes either. I feel fairly comfortable saying it would be OK to do so.
 
Personaly I would get a yes befor uploading anyone elses work , but maybe thats just old fashioned me.

I sent Steven an e-mail last night...not sure if the address is still good or not. I also believe in having a YES before uploading any files that some one else made.

Will contact Douglas and see if the original download files can be fixed. No point in having duplicated files eating up server HD space.

I got double responses from Steven (one via E-mail and 1 via PM) and he gave me the green light to re-upload the Collegiate here. I will upload and ask Douglas to put it under SMyers so it is easier to find.

I received an email from Steven today. He gave permission to upload any of his files here at SOH.
