Another stupid question

How do I acess some of the "Hidden" default aircraft features? Like on or off Wheel pants on the 172, tundra tires on the Beaver and the "Classic" and updated panels on the DC3 and Goose...

I think, unless there's some secret I've missed, most of those are done through mods. For example, you need the Got Friends expansion pack for the Beaver. There are a few mods for the 172, the Goose, and the DC-3. Check your favorite mod download site (and the Got Friends website).

Brian, plug this mod into your Community folder. It makes the Gooney Bird much better:

Also, if you like bare metal, this is a must-have:

The reworked bare metal, to me, is the only livery worth flying. I just don't like the looks of any of the others. It covers both the Sperry and Garmin panels.

Check your Community folder for any avionics mods. Mine doesn't look like that. If that doesn't do it, check the official forum. Yours is the first I've seen like that.

I am sorry but based on the topic header I could not resist. I do not mean to imply anything on the author of the OP or anyone who has replied to it.

Was it the freeware RV-7 ? I just recently installed it because it looks so good, but haven't flown the DC-3 since then so I didn't notice any issues...?
Did you just drop the RV-7 folder in community or did you perform any additional steps ?

It was the RV-6 that had some extra folders in the zip that supposedly went into the community folder. I was going file by file and noticed it had a folder with fonts and I removed it and voila...

RV-6 ?
I have never seen that addon. On which website did you find it ?
On flightsim.to they have only the RV-7 (which is very good, and includes both the taildragger and front wheeled version, with both gauges and glasspanel options available for each).
