Another tremendous "little" airplane..

We paid great attention to Restauravia's MD-311, another thread noted their NORD 3202 trainer: http://restauravia.com/page2.html.

Let me tell you, this is just one fine piece of flying machine. It comes with four textures in which you may fly as a trainer or solo. There is also a Paint Kit. :applause: It is a tiny little airplane for a two-seater, compare it with a Cub.

The only thing I did at first was change the prop animation ratio and do a new propwash. The default propwash shows narrow white tips and the plane's prop has wide yellow tips. I have attached a .zip below for the FS2004 version (shall do one for FSX and post it in said forum). Unzip it and extract the texture to all four of the default textures for the Restauravia NORD 3202.

As per usual, for the prop animation ratio, add this line under each aircraft description after the "ui_variation=??" in the aircraft.cfg. We can all thank our own fleurdelys for this simple addition that does a lot to the animation of a prop, so it does not just look like a blurred prop in one position. :applause:

prop_anim_ratio=1.025

You will become addicted to this airplane, it does everything, real nice.

And did I mention, it is quite aerobatic!:jump:

That little Nord is probably the most detailed plane in my collection....and it is FREEWARE! Amazing what that talented group of guys are turning out. I just downloaded more of their planes...and looked on the news page and saw what looked like a Lockheed L10 or L12.....I love Lockheed Twins and am looking forward to that one being released!!!

restauvavia nord 1101 too!

I love the nord 1101, me-108 lineage with a renault engine and a nose wheel--a nice package and pretty flier too. wish that one had a painkit...I got pitchers of a real one I want to attempt.

Wow, what a beautiful plane! The Restauravia crew deserve a big atta-boy for the 3202, it can't get much better than this for freeware planes. Even if your tastes in aircraft don't normally run toward French and/or light trainers, at least d/l this little guy and give him a test flight.

Err...he's a little guy??? :d
Notwithstanding, it's in the Freeware Gems and deservedly so.

I've been eagerly awaiting their Latécoère 300, which is mentioned on their News page. I don't have a clue when it comes to french, so I'm blindly hoping it's still in the works.
