Almost done. Need to do a little more research on markings and such. Pictures and details are kind of scarce on this one.

This bird was piloted by a Capt. Rich Biley and was hit by an Iraqi missle. The plane lost all hydraulics and when Biley landed back at base, the brakes failed and ran of the runway. The landing gear sheared off and bellied in. Capt. Biley walked away unhurt. The plane was severely damaged, so it was scrapped and the rest of the plane was buried in the sand.

I was a backseater in an army RU-21 waiting to take off out of KKMC in the first gulf war and we were told to hold on the taxiway. While waiting we saw an A10 attempt to land, the gear failed and the plane slid on the ruway in a huge cloud of dust. The canopy popped open and a pilot jumped out and boogied from the plane as the emergency vehicles arrived. I know the pilot survived as I saw him run from the plane but never knew any more. They drug the plane off the runway and we flew off, back to Rhyad. Maybe the same plane

Very Great Work!

This A-10 version, the retro paint the best fit!
Yet many of these would be good, I'm on it!

The USAF must have been looking at vintage Italian fighters when they designed this last scheme!
