Any mods about......?

For the mods.
I have a second machine and have been trying for over a month now, to get my forum access made available on that machine. I have put in a user name and a password but the system refuses to accept my email address which it says is in use with someone. Yes. ME! So, if its in use why won't it remind me what the user name and password is when I ask for it?
And that "secret squirrel" verification puzzle, pink letters on a grey background, come on! Is it some kind of eye test and if I fail, I'm not allowed to join OFF??
I would like my second machine to get access to the OFF forum.
Three or four attempts have not had the response I would like. Can you help please? Mmmmm......ta ever so.

You have one Computer, and you already have a forum account. You can join and log in to this forum from every computer worldwide, that has access to the internet - so also your second PC - just use the same name and password you use with number one. Using PC number 2 type in your username, the password and you are logged in.

If you want to generate a second account, e.g. peterxyz for peterj, it certainly asks for your eMail adress - and if you provide the one with which you made up your first (peterj) account, it certainly tells you this eMail account is already in use. One forum name for one eMail adress.

I've assumed, for aeons and aeons that any user name and ID and password was tied in with the email address. I have got it into my head that my email address stipulated a different user name and p/w.
I've just checked it and you're quite right. Much obliged.
 
That "secret squirrel" eye test that you refer to is a test to make sure that you are a human being and not a computer trying to spam the site, or something to that effect.
