I use Lawdog's CFS2 one, which sounds smoother than the Spitfire Merlin. Judging by Mustangs I've listened to, it's about right.

Kinda partial to the stock FSX acceleration P-51 sound myself. Nice prop bite sound at lower RPMs. Easy enough to port over.
