Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Is there any airport scenery genius out there, please?

I need someone to do simple modification of widening and extending runway of freeware NZCI scenery add on that will not violate copyright regulations if it is used only for one person which is me.

NZCI Chatham airport had first jet service flight 2 weeks ago by cargo 737 jet plane that I would like to recreate on FSX, please but the runway had been widen and extended to accommodate jet planes hence me asking anyone to modify the runway. If you can do, I will send you link for the freeware scenery for use of FSX for you to download and modify. I am told that the author of the freeware airport scenery would not mind as long as it is only for me and not for public redistribution.

Thank you for any assistance

Regards,

Aharon

From what I can find it has been extended to 6070 ft useable / no displaced threshold or blast area, by original 148 feet wide. Looks llike the extension was to the southwest, extending RWY23. It was shown as oil treated; must have been redone as a new base and asphalt as shown in Google Earth photos.

@expat

Thanks but I am not programming genius so ADE is out of my league.

@Mike71 .

Thanks for cool facts. Also, New Zealand natives who are expert in New Zealand aviation told me that the runway was also widen so that jets can do backtracking.

Someone had PMed me telling me that he will try to do runway extending and widening of NZCI scenery.

Regards,

Aharon
