• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Anybody recall the solution for "acontain.dll" crashes. I am getting, this olde nemesis, crashes when I engage the opposition. In Campaign/Mission >>SC_EnterpriseDefense_1A.mis ? Anybody Other Campaigns/Missions got ai_playr.dll error from same "modules" library.

Can't recall a solution as such,
the crash occurs when you engage the enemy you say, is it as the sim spawns the enemy units (model or flight file error) or when you shoot the enemy (dp or model nonsense )
If the error only occurs flying one specific mission, Id check that mission file to find the Unit types spawned at the point in the mission when the crash happens, Id guess it is one that is unique to that mission and then check the sanity of that unit types files. If all the units occur in similar other missions without causing crashes then the error must be in the mission file or its associated dynamic file.
I hope you understand what I'm on about and know how to check out a mission or dp in notepad, maybe some one else remembers doing it.
