Anybody up for a couple more USN S-2s?

Simply stunning as always Duckie! Thank you for your work!! Think you could also whip up some prototype paints? Kind regards, Jeremy

Keep 'em coming, Duckie!

In addition to prototypes, you may wish to consider some of these if not already done:

Thanks a bunch for your kind words, Gents! The pleasure truly is mine. Awsome model, wonderful paintkit, long history. I didn't think anything would ever replace the MAAM TBF/M as my favorite flyer, but it is now no. 2 in favor of the STOOF and Willy Fudd.

H52, no promises, but I'll see what I can muster as samples form your list.

Cheers,
Steve

All 3 VS-38 texture sets have been uploaded to the SOH Library. Look for then as soon as they are approved.

Cheers,
Duckie

Thanks very much, Dave and Milton. It's a great looking plane and loads of fun to paint and fly.

A real BONEHEAD move!

Have you ever looked at something so many times that it ultimately became unnoticeable, invisible?

Working on some "colorful" foreign S-2s and thought I'd do and "easy" one first. So I started looking for an Aussie bird. But before I got too far along, I checked the usual places to see if anyone had already done one. Couldn't find any so I continued on with mine.

As I was building my aircraft texture folder to load up and test my textures, what did I find? An Aussie bird! Not only an Aussie S-2, but one that was included in the original issue of the SOH S-2F3 by Todd Disrud!!

The only good thing was that Todd's is A/C 152334 and mine is 152333! Todd's buzz number is 845 and mine is 844!

With apologies to Todd, I'll proceed since I'm all but done with it and anyone who wants it will now have 2 Aussie birds of No. 816 Sq. from the late 1970s. Should be up by the weekend.
