Anybody want a pretty blue and yellow Storch?

Many months ago Steve sent me PDP layered textures for Piglet's Storch. being the procrastinator I am, I just got around to opening them in PSP on my old computer and converting them to .psp for this computer. Many saludes Steve. :medals:

So now that I had Photoshop layered textures, I figured I needed to do a repaint of the Storch. I searched for photos or profiles of a Storch that Steve had not done and I came upon this Norwegian Storch (sorry if you have already done it Steve, I didn't find it here at SOH, not time to search all sites).

It's already been uploaded to SOH. I included my propwash and my clean glass texture in the zip also. If you have one or the other or both, there is no need to use them.

Looks awesome, Cazzie! :applause:

Definately not my type of aircraft, as much too fragile... :d

Sorry to start counting rivets (although there might be not too much of them done to this plane...), but are you sure about the direction of the roundels on the wings?
Some references I have here about RNoAF roundels show them turned around in this manner:

Looking good Caz, wondered how long it would take you too get around to using the masters, you might want to check yer roundels, I think they are pointing the wrong way.

Thanks Steve, wing Roundels should not have the outer white either. Will amend and send up the correction.

Hey Cazzie,

The new Norwegian paint is a beauty. Thanks for the fix to the roundels, too.

Must be some klingon technology in there though........was doing some low and slow bush flying, admiring the texture and scenery, when I noticed I could see through the Norwegian Storch! :icon_lol:

I don't know if the paint is getting thin or if it's time to reskin the Storch.

Oops, ya know what they call that, Stealth Alpha, ergo too much!
Another fix on the way. :icon_lol:

Please tell me that I am not the only one who tried to use the top hat to move around the Storch while watching the video.

Replacement texture attached: learned my lesson.

When it don't need Alpha, don't use it.

I am such a hard head sometimes in trying to do what "I" want and not what is "required".

Nothing new on the base texture, but the Alpha has been eliminated, i.e. all white.
