Anyone Else's Windows 7 Take a Dump

After the last Windows 7 update, my Windows 7 machine took a vacation and would not boot.
I repaired the MBR and it booted fine for a few days, then same issue.

SO, I formatted that HD and reinstalled.
Again, the HD worked fine until the last Windows 7 update.

SO, I switched to my second HD which was Windows XP.
I could see the Windows 7 files, could access them and move them, but could not boot into Windows 7.

SO, I partitioned the XP HD and installed Windows 7 in the formatted partition and dual booted just fine until the last windows 7 update was installed.

I had this same problem with Windows 98SE a long time ago.
I also had it with Windows XP until I stopped allowing Microsoft updates to XP and disconnected XP from the internet.

Just checking to see if anyone else has recently had problems with Windows 7 lately?
