Could not be of help with the Windows 7 issue. The only currently running CFS machine I have is a Windows 2000.
As for screenshots, look for a key in your row of function keys marked "Prt Sc" or something similar.
When you press that key, it grabs whatever is on your screen and puts it into the "clip board".
On some computers, you might need to hit the Shift key to get to the Print Screen function.
You can then paste the contents of that clip board image into whatever image processor you like.
Ideally you want something that will handle JPG or PNG formats to save in a fairly small file size.
I am kinda primitive. On the Windows 2000 box, I have very limited tools, so I just paste into MS Paint and save as BMP.
That makes for a HUGE file size, so I take it to another machine to convert to JPG file format and it brings the file size down from about 2.3 MB to about 300 K.
I have hundreds of aircraft downloads for CFS if there is something in particular you are looking for.
