Anyone know what happened to the Alpha/Virtavia Tu-22 Backfire?

When I bought the Blinder recently, I tried to find the (earlier?) Tu-22 Backfire download.
So far, I've found nada.
There's not much info about what happened. Bad flight dynamics? Ownership issues with the MDL? Bad VC?
Its like the plane evaporated. This would be for both the Alphasim and Virtavia downloads.

I want to see what the "(absolutely no) fuss" was about.
Metric gauges? It just didn't sell? They forgot to mention about the "-" key for the 2D cockpit and VC?
