Anyone know where to buy Ubisoft DVD of CFS 3?

I was reading in the no CD thread about the ubisoft version of CFS 3 and posted this request there, but fearing it might get lost in old threads not bumped up I thought I would post it in a new thread.

I have seen it offered online for sale in Europe but cannot find a USA outlet. Does anyone know? Thanks

Also, I noticed that am back to 1 or 2 posts. Does it revert back to 1 if you don't post for an extended period of time?

Answer to question 1: Check ebay or the Microsoft games website.

Answer to question 2: The site had a big crash not to long ago and had to be restarted. Everyone went back to 1 post.

Or stretch your legs michael and wander down to your local EB store or computer game shop. Not sure about the US but in Australia the Ubisoft DVD version is popping up everywhere as a "hot platinum" or something like that for between 10 and 20 bucks. The 2 cd set is the rare one these days downunder.
 
Picked one up off eBay over the weekend. Used "Buy It Now" and got it for $13.98.

They're easy to find on EvilBay. :D

I will check ebay again. The stores on this island that carry computer games are slight. We have Walmart and then Gamestop which has a handful of pc games...they mostly handle playstation stuff...

Something must have got lost in translation OldSimmer .... I already have 2 copies of the CFS3 DVD (one spare :d).

It's Michael who wants to get the DVD. BTW, the version in your ebay link is the cd version according to the box. Never seen "aircraft handling sir douglas bader would be proud of" on a cfs3 box before :costumes:.

It is well worth the effort to get a copy. The DVD copy has multiple languages, and the good thing is you can copy off your language to another DVD and also add your addons to the same DVD. It has no disk check or anything. This makes backups very easy.

I am in the process of making different install sets for the various theatres, each with CFS3 install plus the mod.

If you have an EB Games they may be able to get one from another place for you. A word of caution, the box the Australain version comes in has a centre clamp that is very hard to extract the disk from. Remove with caution then place in another cover.

I've seen it on sale at Target for $9.99. The original Microsoft version. Don't know anything about a Ubisoft version. Did Ubisoft publish it?
 
haha quiche and consoles and real men.!! Real men are starting to have limits...self imposed.

I have seen the dvds on ebay...even with $12 for shipping...still a good deal

Lol Mark. Yes I had the same problem. Was it some kind of intelligence puzzle solving test or something ? I think I failed :redf:
