I know its a very old FS aircraft made by a company tha doesnt exist anymore. But does anyone know anyone who would be able to make a repaint of 617 Sqaudrons anniversary Tonka fallen in love with the thing. I have been told by my good friend Matt Wynn and he did say everyone he knows has gone over to the IRIS GR4.
 
Sorry just read the post and ive messed it up what i meant was for the LAGO Tornado. And does anyone know who does repaints for it or has everyone switched to the IRIS version. Sorry for not explaining myself properly.
 
Tom, which anniversary Tonka do you mean, can you provide a link to some photos? I think I may still have the paint kit somewhere, so could possibly have a bash for you.

Oh, and I saw you asking elsewhere for a particular repaint for Dave Garwood's Dragon Rapide; as it happens I'd actually done that one for my own use, give me a chance to tidy it up & package it up, and I'll upload it here for general consumption - I'm no SteveB or Matt Wynn, but I can do the simple ones!! :-D

Thanks Andy ive attached some pics below. Someone I know went to the Shuttleworth Collection and took a photo of the Rapide in that livery just really like it. I know some of you will say to me Tom why dont you get the IRIS model no doubt I love the look of the thing but the LAGO version is special to me cause it was one of the first add ons I got for FS9.

OK, slight snag, I don't have the Lago Tornado paintkit anymore; looks like it was on a backup CD that has gone AWOL - if anybody has it & can let me have a copy, that would be useful. However, I'm going to have a bash anyway, and see what I can do.

In other news .......

I've just uploaded the Dragon Rapide repaint for G-AIDL 'TX310', so check the library in a while when Rami has had a chance to weave his Rami magic!

Well, it is, but you need the Just Flight CD-version to install it; I bought the Tonka from Lagosim, many, many years ago, so no go I'm afraid. I have the installation files for the Tornado itself, but I put my paint kits on another CD which now appears to be unreadable; I also lost the paint kit for the FSKBT, something I have cursed on many an occasion - again, a plea to all, if anybody has either of these & can send me a copy it would be greatly appreciated.

However.... in this instance the only thirkings that need changing are the serial number and the tail markings, so I might yet be able to sort this. Watch this space.
