Area 51 scenery?

Maybe the Government did something to the creators. I've never seen it anywhere for download so my guess it was never completed or lost in time. Seeing it was 5 years about it was posted. Looked good tho from those pics.

Area 51 does not exsist, It is a fever dream of alien/goverment conspiracy theorists.
The Area 51 in the sectional charts is a typo. Disreguard the big hole between Areas 50 and 52. Nothing but swamp gas reflecting the planet Venus off a weather balloon. Alex Trebec told me so in person

Wow, that was forever ago. That "Area 51" scenery and the Miramar scenery you mentioned were being developed by Carl Edwards (aka "ninja mouse") for release through Alphasim. It was just about the time FSX came out and they were being made specifically for FSX. Shortly after their announcement Carl left Alphasim. He did release an RAF Fairfax airshow scenery but he hasn't done anything since AFAIK. The latest I heard he is now working for a company designing simulators for real world Formula One racing teams.

But, keep in mind, there is no Area 51 out there. :salute:
:ernae:

I had alot of fun back in the Alphasim days. I had Nellis, Groom lake, Tonapah and the Navy base further north north west. I also had all the cold war era US,British and Russian fighters, bombers and had a blast flying pretend secret black ops betrreen them. Oh, yeah, flying the U2 and Blackbird down to Hollowman, over th Edwards. Their planes were unique, affordable, easy on the frames and FUN. Now everything seems to be aimed at systems junkies and screenshot fanatics. I will take a blurred panel but fun and scenery cranked over being able to count carpet threads at 2560 x 1600 and being able to reroute the gps circuit to run the coffee maker.
Kinda miss fs2004. I know when I finally said goodbye I deleted about $1500 worth of stuff.

Okay, thanks for the replies. I remember when the images was release over at Alphasim, to bad it didn't get released, it looked brilliant. I don't really use Area 51 as a base, but I like the thought of the Black Projects flying over the Nevada desert and the great looking scenery to go with it. Aerosoft did not put too much of an effort into their version in US CitiesX Las Vegas.
