Armed Forces Day

SOH-CM-2022
Here in Nottingham,U.K. we've been celebrating Armed Forces Day today. There have been large displays of Army, Airforce and Navy kit and personnel ,marching bands, parachute jumpers etc.
We've been treated to flypasts over the city of various aircraft like the Red Arrows and later the aircraft of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF).
Managed to grab a few shots from my garden as they arrived for their displays. Low ? oh yes, they were so low I could swear the pilot had a moustache :).
These aren't meant to be wonderful photos, merely a record of the event.

Cheers

we had a couple of flybys here as well. We had a typhoon having some fun on full afterburners, the red arrows having fun with the cliffs, and the BBMF buzzing the town at 100ft ish if that ... it rocked cos the the town is higher than the beech so they zoom low over the town to be at a "low" height over the beech. 6 merlin engines (lanc, spit, hurri) at 100ft ish right above you is fantastic :jump: :jump: :jump:
