News just in.....

Two fowl miscreants have been arrested in a conspiracy that resulted in the water landing of US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River last week. Picture below.
 
Global warming. I bet the folks up north would like have a chat with Al.
 
No matter what, it's a p*ss poor way to offer passengers roast goose on any airline flight. Jet engines are not the new wave for grilling. Next time use the frakking oven! Slow roast is better.
 
I just think it's great that a tragedy was avoided to the point where we can make jokes about it. That was a great piece of flying.
 
while im not personally offended by the photo, i do think the turnats are a bit much...

...Al Gore might've had some facts wrong on his inconveninet truth film, but that doesnt mean its a lie. Global Warming is a REAL THREAT and IT DOES affect species of all types, it is a scientific fact. It is also a fact that the Bush Admin. misused scientific information to advance its own selfish interests, disregarding the well being of not only the U.S but the world as well.

before i get torn appart for starting a political discussion or bashing Mr. Bush or going against what some of our residents believe or think, i wanna say that the environment is a cause i feel very strong about, and denying the existance and effects of Global Warming is almost as narrowminded and biased as denying the holocaust (just an example!) there is irrefutable proof of the effects of Global Warming upon our planet and all life within it.

I'm not trying to start anything, im just tossing my two cents in... and before i get dismissed on grounds of age and experience, i am a senior broadcast journalism student, so what im saying is not only opinion but also based in fact.

I agree. So maybe we can avoid having the thread escalate into a Global Warming debate just because some birds and a A320 had a mid-air???

things like this tip me towards retiring from notonle these forums but also from FS altogether... and i think its interesting how its always the same guys pushing their opinions around and hiding behind the political discussion excuse in order to quiet others

No kidding! Not just anyone could have kept cool and put down in a place and in a way that everyone on board could survive. I'm still amazed.
