arrrrg..truck sold..buyer backs out

wow was i excited...i put my truck on craigslist at 6 am wednsday,,at 8am dude calls..im intrested in your trucks..send pics and tell me more,so i go out,uncover it..wash it,and take pics,email dude and he wants to come drive it..thursday he comes to drive it....hes here and were talking and my dad has a heart attack while hes here,he leaves,,friday he sends me email contact me imediatly if you want me to buy..8500.00...i said ill take it BUT..DMV is closed..california furlow friday, i have to turn in my DP plates in person and surrender them myself,,pay 18 bucks and re -register truck and get temp plates for him PLUS get it smoged...i set up appoinment at chevy dealer ( expencivbe) but only place willing to do it short notice on monday.i also cant find the stupid pink slip(title) so i have to pay to get a copy..i asked him if he can wait until tuesday to get my act together and see what dads situation is..i tell him i dont know if hes even gonna make it ( he just knows he had heart attack)......

soooo today i get email...."dude,i came home from fresno today,told the wife i was buying your truck and she blew a cork,said i cant do it,sorry"................WTF???

i have his phone number so i call him...he sounds ok at first..then as hes talking he sounds like he is starting to cry....then SHE gets on the phone.starts to cuss me and tells me i shouldnt take advantage of weak people...the "dude" is 6'1" 280,,40 something and owns his own glass company..how weak is he?.....she hangs up on me after telling me im a sorry excuse for a human........wow......she also said part of the problem was the truck has no tailgate therefore its a ripoff......sighs...
 
Yep. some women have gnards far larger than those carried by their husbands.....like my wife for instance LOL!

takes all kinds, i guess. my suspicion is, she had that $$ earmarked for something she wanted, and you nearly got in the way. on the bright side, be glad that's not your woman. :icon_lol:

Plus he is not the right buyer (new owner) of your beloved truck. Sell to to someone who can take care of your truck the way you do!

There are a lot of (real) buyers out there. At least now, you have prepared the 'paper work' in case someone is ready to have it.

That truck that good ... I will buy it if i need one... :bump:
