As if I dont have enough to do...

Hey guys,

So I get this email... Why wont your Chance Voight V-173 fly right in FS9. I write him back that it flew fine when I had it. I dont know what it could be. (At first, I didnt even know what he was talking about. Turns out, years ago, I made a basic freeware V-173 flying flapjack in FS2002. I dont even have it anymore and its base files were lost).

So he emails me back, many times... all his frustration trying to get it to fly, and how only one guy in the world who is a developer will redo planes for him.

I was going to write him about how I have all these people wanting FSX convertions done to existing 'FS9' planes, and that I commended this other lone dev who helps him out with antiquated freeware from FS2002 days.... and I thought, nope.. He'll just get more angry..

:faint:

lol...

Yep..

I wish I could do it all. That flapjack (the actual real world plane) was awesome. I would love nothing more then to rebuild it and add a paintable exterior, etc.. But dang.. Kodiak, Victory, Pacer, Atmos, and several others are already on the assembly line, started..

<--- takes a deep breath

Get busy son............HeHe :d

This ain't no :fish2: fishing trip.........:wavey:

That was yours? I remember flying that thing back in FS2002 - I had a heck of a time landing it without scraping the props!

The one I really loved was the little sport airship...... I had some fun with that. What a totally wicked concept.

Don't be harsh, Bill...

Oh man... I have flown that thing in my mind.. Someday I'll make a far better version. The one in my drawings has a little room just above the cockpit up in the envelope that you could stand up in. The family version (holds 5 people) was just a bigger model of that one... Then there was the morphing model that stretched into a big dart so it could get up to higher speeds, but very small version.

Oh to dream... Good memory! Man, that was years ago...

Atmos; a four seater modern day next generation state of the art 4 seat aircraft with an interior based on modern automobile comforts which include a wide cabin area.

The name Atmos is derived from 'Atmosphere' and sounds similar to the famous term 'Atmo' made popular from the SciFi program 'FireFly'.

To better understand what it is and what it is like, think of a Lancair ES, a Cirrus SR-22, and a BMW 8 series, all rolled up into one, and fit it with a very powerful turbocharged 6 cylinder.

Some real early 'work in progress' pics.

I wouldnt go that far. The Epic LT is like a beautiful Ferrari. This is more like a 4 seater regular every day composite plane.

The side windows on the one that has blended front and rear windows is borrowed from BMW and Aston Martin (side windows shape), the cowling is a bit Cirrus but stretched for more things under the bonnet, the rudder is very 'Lancair'.

We'll see how far it gets. I would sure love to finish it. I want one heck of a wild 'dash board' in it. Something very 'car' looking. :d

Ok...I'm with ya on that........

looks like it would be a fun flyer though.......
