I'm picking up on Assetto Corsa again after about 4 years (i think).. The beauty of Steam is that it installed in a matter of a few minutes. Does still look amazing after not having seen it for so long.

Have to say that the main reason is my love for race cars from the 60's (and before). Actually i was searching GPL (Grand Prix Legends) just to see if maybe a miracle had happend in the mean time and GPL had been re-released this time in glorious today's graphics. Not a chance of course but quite a lot of very good looking 1960's race cars turned up anyway for Assetto Corsa ! Wow!! Even cars from 1920's, 30's and 50's !

I do remember a Lotus 49 and maybe a 43 in AC but i can't remember how i got them. I figure most of these vintage race cars i see for AC are 3rd Party DLC, right ? Can anyone point me to a website where i might be able to download them ?...

Thank you so much in advance ! :encouragement:

WOW!! That's a regular Shangri-La for historic FI aficionados ! I knew i had come to the right place !! :jump:

Thank you so much, Ferry ! Made my day !! Now to get my G27 out of the mothballs ! (still in one of the many move boxes down below in the storage...) If all goes well i believe i'm in for some racing fun this weekend !

Thanks again, Ferry !! ;-)

No problem Jan, have fun!

Another good site is overtake.gg (formerly race department) and for more free cars of varying quality, go to https://assetto-fr.com

Great modern payware cars (though not nearly as expensive as most FS payware!) you will find at race sim studio and VRC.
Some great prototypes there.
