Time to fire mine up and see what comes down the pipe!
Nice!!
I managed to blow the engine in the BMW without making one lap of the Ring.
Turning that off might be a good idea for now.

The 312T was terrific around Imola, looked good, sounded right and the engine held together.

im having trouble with the controller settings,im using the Logitech G25,in the settings,in the game,it shows the clutch and all gears working on the shifter, also shows the buttons working to look left and right,i get into the car ,first the Cobra, then the Mercedes SLG(?) and when im in the seat, the little thingy top left shows the clutch movement, breaks and throttle as well..BUT i try to shift and .....nuthin.. and the look left/right wont work either...whuts going on??

thanks for some help here..

Dave

Dave, after setting up the controller, did you give the profile a name and save it?

Also, AC is set up to mimic the actual car, so if the real thing has a clutch and stick it will ork like that in AC. Cars like the SLS, 458 and LaFerrari do not have a clutch and shift by paddles behind the wheel.
In previous versions of AC you could set this in the options but I haven't found that option yet.

when i set up the controller where?..in "game"? or on my pc through the logitech thing?..and should i have that in my PC or delete it and just use in "game" setup only?

where is the game can i name it...i didnt see that,,,though im oxygen was very low last night and i didnt catch it,,my eyes were all blurry and whathave you...wasnt fun.

ive done all of the above, working very well, cept when i tried ,this is the only test for today so far,,i was in the cobra,on the hillclimb, the steering is way to fast,on my hobby stock i just lengthened the pitman arm,,on the sprint cars there was a screw adjustment for the box,but im lost on this..i turned down the FF,and that made it more realistic...and what in the world is the screeching sound...its like brakes were on..but when i stepped on the peddle, the car braked correctly.can you hep me? please?

Sounds like you have traction control set all the way up. I had that problem too at first, if its all the way up, it seems like your tires are spinning when you touch the gas pedal! Turn your traction control down until it feels right for you. Took me a few days to get used to it, I was sitting in the pits, trying to get my car to move and was just spinning my tires, lol

There were a few repaints at NoGrip ( http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=149 ) but it is a bit too early at this stage o development to expect anything.
And FWIW, don't start off with the heavy metal like the Cobra (WTF are developers thinking sticking that useless 427 in a sim) as the smaller cars are the best way to learn your way around.

There are plenty of mods for AC already, check the forums at their site. But the soundsystem has changed in the RC1 release so some mods do not have working sounds at the moment.

This Corvette is great piece of work:

1) Choose any car
2) Choose Spa
3) Set time as 8:30am
4) Set Post processing to Sport or Photographic, or possible Vignette
5) Drive

:)

Shows how much I've been distracted by other RL matters. :banghead:
Just a clue why I'm not myself Ferry, Madame Wombat is with Medicines Sans Frontieres and has been 'away' for several weeks so far.
