Attention Kodiak Pilots

Lionheart

SOH-CM-2014
Hey guys (and gals),

For those of you that have the Kodiak and have troubles getting the front doors to open, there is now a fix. All you need to do is install new, updated 'panel.cfg' files and you are good to go.

Thank you for your patience on this issue. Thanks to Milton Shupe for finding the culprit and enabling this issue to be rectified.

Happy flying,

Bravo Bill and Milton......:applause:

Thank you both for the fix........:wavey:

:ernae: Thanks Bill :ernae:

I like it so much, I never got out of the Pit !!

Cheers !!

Thanks Bill, will try it out when I get my FSX installation back to business. Any news on the prop RPM issue? I know you must be busy with Tailwind, but no harm asking right?:icon_lol::icon_lol:

The prop issue is coming up. Its already been adjusted but hasnt been Beta tested yet.

As soon as its ready though, I will get that out and launched. I will do my best to see if I can make the next update just a mini download for those that already have it.

Bill

Woohoo, no more climbing in and out of the cargo door. Thanks for the update, and thanks Milton for spotting the issue.

Thank you Bill, and all. The real hero is Doug Dawson who makes available a lot of great freeware gauges. I used his Event Logger gauge to find this and my own gauge issues.

You can download Doug's Event Logger at Flightsim for FSX and there is also an FS9 version.

FSX Event Logger Gauge. This gauge is designed to detect repeating FS Key_Events which interfere with normal panel operation. Symptoms of repeating Key_Events include an inability to select a second exit or second engine, as well as accelerated selection on autopilot controls (Course and Heading controls increment by 10 instead of 1, Altitude Select increments by 1000 instead of 100.) This gauge will not tell you which gauge is sending the repeated Key_Events, but by identifying the events themselves, it should make the task of identifying the offending gauge somewhat easier. By Doug Dawson.
