There is a fix also for engine starting from cold & dark in FSX that I discovered today!
Assign keyboard keys to 'starter 1 on/off' & 'starter 2 on/off' in settings > assignments. For some reason use Starter 2 first, then operate the HP cock either side of the seat outboard of the LP cocks, then switch generator switches on, on stbd sidewall & then no 1 engine will start to rotate.
Do not use the Starter switches on the port console under the airbrake lever.
This will also work in FS9!

Pete, Yes it is my Meteor U16 that was originally for the Llanbedr project identified as WH453 because Rick Piper produced a U16 identified as WK800, now deleted from the records as far as I'm aware. They were though intended only as AI aircraft, although you could add Ricks T7 cockpit & fly it.
Its been a long time coming, mainly because of other projects, but also because I'm not very good at creating the .xml programming - its very much empirical creating! i.e. try it & see if it works!
Some of the requirements to make it work are quite complicated - at least for me! Some of the sequences are though a compromise as FS9/FSX has its own limitations.
