Huge effort by Rubens Barrichello to get the Williams-Cosworth (which is a bit of a dog!) up there.
Nice to see Rosberg in front of his 'team mate' again.
P2 for Webber is not all bad, his line will have been rubbered up and pretty clean for the start and he has the inside running for turn 1.
Been a long day, qualifying was entertaining but the support races were better ........:ernae:
 
Vettel's lap was the fastest F1 lap ever round Albert Park, beating Michael Schumacher's 2004 record..

Ragged indeed, but what a hoot. SPEED, via Aussie TV, took us on board during that hot lap. Whew, talk about driving on the edge!

Enjoyable hour and fifteen minutes, qualifying at an F-1 event is often better than the race, surely more exciting because you really do not know the outcome until the final car crosses the line after the checker.

Looks like rain for your event and my event wombat. Course rain doesn't upset your event, only makes it better! :icon_lol:

But I may be a no-show at Martinsville tomorrow if the forecast holds true, 70% chance of rain, temps in the mid-50s. Good thing is, if I hold and the race is called due to rain and rescheduled tomorrow, I can be a vulture and get a ticket for next to nothing. :ernae:
