Av History Weapon tracers

Hi guys,

Since installing the Av history weapons pack, some of the weapons tracers and smoke aren't appearing. I have edited a few of the gun XDP's to link to other ones that I know the tracers work and this has resolved it for them particular guns. The ones that aren't working are all Av History aircraft using their own guns, not default and default a/c are working fine.

Can anyone give me any advice as to why this is happening ? I have installed the Effects.xml too :isadizzy:

I had the same problem. However, I have a Vista operating system and when I started CFS3 with "Run as Adminstrator", the tracers re-appeared. If you're using Vista, give it a try.

Interestingly, not all of the AV History aircraft experiened this problem. Some worked even when I did not run as administrator. On the other hand, the only aircraft which failed to show the tracers were AV History.
 
U need to install:

effect.xml
preload.xml
fxtextures

If u want backup the original files move them outside the CFS3 main folder or the game could load the original file or the new one
