I found the Avatar key assignment and made this list that show avatar key assignments in P3d

Avatar - Move Backwards (down) S

Avatar - Move Forward (Down) W
Avatar - Move Forward (up) ^W
Avatar - Move Left (down) A
Avatar - Move Left (up) ^A
Avatar - Move Right (down) D
Avatar - Move Right (up) ^D
Avatar - Run (down)
Avatar - Run (up)
Avatar - Toggle Crouch C
Avatar - Toggle Run R
Avatar - Turn/Pan Left (down Q
Avatar - Turn/Pan Left (up) ^Q

Not sure what key to use to get out of avatar.....

CTRL+SHIFT+E is a toggle for the avatar mode.
If you are in a plane, CTRL+SHIFT+E will get you in avatar mode, with your plane sitting next to you. CTRL+SHIFT+E again and you're back in the cockpit.

The fun thing is: if there are some AI aircraft not far away, and you walk up to them in the avatar, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+E, you'll get in the cockpit of that plane (if it's a pilotable plane, of course....).
