aviation inspired repaint in forza

there seems to be a few console owners on this forum . personaly i use the Xbox 360 and THE game on there that has me hooked is forza motorsports 3 , especialy with its repaint possibilities . doing a lot of that and being an aviation nut , i had to make a few repaints on the cars inspired by planes .
here are a few.
the first in an audi R15 with "red baron" colors , then a mitsubishi zero 3000GT .

Do you race online? I've been thinking about getting Forza 3, but I've heard that it's difficult to find races online.
 
if you can wait to get it a few more weeks , the forza ultimate collection comes out at the end of the month ( the 29th of october i believe ) which for around $29 , will include all the available downloads ( over 80 additional cars and two variations on the nurburgring GP track ) and , with a new deal with the show top gear , 10 new cars exclusive to this edition ( which will include among others the lancia 037 , mercedes SLS AMG , koenigsegg CCX and the lexus LF-A ) bumping the number of cars to approximately 500.
i race online a bit but mostly do it with people on my friend's list . the online game is a bit emptier with the arrival of halo reach , F1 2010 and in europe WRC but there are still plenty of people to be found online . as far as the public lobbies go , finding a race is not too difficult in the higher classes or the special gameplays ( like cat and mouse , or the virus gameplay ) but you need to be aware that most people will go online with mostly AWDs which have a sginificant advantage over RWDs ( especialy with cars that you wouldn't think would ever get an AWD conversion like the vipers the challengers ) or mostly with the leaderboard cars very often ( like vipers with AWD conversion in class A or S , or the now infamous mosler MT900S in R2/R3 ) which doesn't always make for a very varied lineup LOL , and at times it may be difficult also to get in a race with people thinking they are using bumper cars . but when you get in a race with good people , it is truly awesome . personally , i mostly go with private races but don't mind the public lobbies once in awhile

question?...do you have to work your way up from "rookie" to advanced pro or whatever to be able to drive the differant cars?..or are they avalible from the begining?...im an ex semi-pro race driver and i refuse to buy a racing game that i have to prove to some geek programer who cant wheell one of these in real life himself,that i can drive, to get to the cool cars....lol
 
all the cars and tracks are available from the start . the only thing that is truly to unlock is the different race events that are unlocked with "driver levels". getting to a higher driver level ( up to lvl 50 ) gets you bonus cars . and everything is unlocked for online play where you can even choose a car you do not own in your garage ( but the only cars you can upgrade and sometime tune are the ones you own in game )
